I love melbourne... I arrived on the thursday and as it was my first time really on my own since leaving nic, i did feel very home sick :( Luckily I soon got chatting to a couple of girls in my dorm ('I feel homesick' is a great way to start a conversation for future reference!)

I started my work experience on friday, meaning i had to desperately run around finding suitable clothes... what a shock to the system after 2 months of freedom! It was great though and the bonus was the barristers could tell me about all the best places to go, as well as taking me out for a number of lovely lunches!

At the weekend I went to the beach, had my first Ozzy smoothy, went to St Kilda market and attempted to go on the rollercoaster at Luna Park (it wasnt running because it was too windy-theyve obviously never been to blackpool haahaa) We also went for a meal at La Roche, a really nice restaurant on the main street.

Monday night was Neighbours night, which much as id taken the mick out of nic, was of course unmissable! We saw Karl Kennedy, Libby Kennedy, Izzy and Doctor Darcy! Also Libby sang and Karls band played. It was heaving so didnt get much chance to talk to the 'stars' though. All in all i thought it was worth it and i know everyone (well claire) will love the pics :)

Also during my trip to Melbourne, i went on the trams (very confusing and when i did attempt to pay the machine was always broken!) and to the big museum in the city centre which was amazing. On my last day of work, and to celebratethe start of Easter weekend we went to a bar called Hells in the city and had a glass of champagne lol, it was great.

Pretty short and sweet - I could go into details on my placement but i dont think anyone except me will find that interesting lol.
