Hi all. Flew up to Townsville with Darren on Tuesday. Stayed at his friends house for the night, Kai, Mia and baby Jessie. Kai is Trip Director on a Scuba Diving boat and we will be going out on the boat tonight for 3 days. Darren and I will be working on the boat, only a few jobs, I'll have to make the beds, help the cook etc. But for doing this we get the $500 trip for FREE. Cool hey. Arrived in Brisbane this morning. It was sunny and still warm, but hey, not as nice as Fiji. Got the Bus down to Byron Bay only to be greeted with rain! Hopefully it will cheer up tomorrow or my wicked tan will fade. First impressions of Oz is good..............

Well they say Fiji is like Paradise and they sure are right. Had a fantastic 2 weeks. Went far too quick! The First week we went north off the main island, off RakiRaki, to an island called Nananu-i-ra. Not the smallest island but you can walk round it in 5 hours. Bay of Islands is a lovely place, even better that the sun is shining. Alans birthday so he chose to go Quad Biking. Great trip. I was being careful and going at a steady spead, glad I did as one of the other girls ended up going of the track and ended up in the ditch. She must have fallen down about 6m. Bless her, she was ok. In the evening went to a nice fish restaurant and then back to the hostel for more drinks and partying.

Up early again today. Going up to Mount Maunganui. Stopping off at Taupo and Rotorua on the way. I would have liked to stayed in Rotorua again for one night as tonight England is playing rugby here (Lions Tour). All tickets and hostels have sold out so we have to just pass through.
