Sun 1st Jan 2012 - 13 hours ahead of UK!

BULA!!!

After 40 hours of travelling, very little sleep and horrid plane food we're here at our first destination - Fiji!

We landed in Nadi in the early hours of Saturday morning (31st Dec) and then got a boat to our island - an hour away from the main land. While we were waiting for our room we swam in the sea and chilled by the pool and have been relaxing ever since! As you can see from the photos we treated ourselves to a little bit of luxury before embarking on our real travels. It is our honeymoon after all!

We had a candle lit dinner on the edge of the sea last night to celebrate New Year but the lack of sleep and time changes have finally caught up with us so we spent today (Sun 1st Jan) lazing around, kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling. It's very hot here - a lovely change from rainy Wales - sorry people!! We're here for another 3 nights and then we're off island hopping for 6 days before flying to New Zealand! The 6 months part hasn't really sunk in yet - it will soon I'm sure!

Anyway - HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
