Yes we've since seen more of these birds and they are called quails here too. Very cute when the babies are in tow.

we've been following your adventures with pleasure. keep up the good work. note about the little bird with the top feather. in the US, these are quail. they mostly walk and make a little coo/warble noise, are travel in little coveys...having quite a few chicks in their brood.
