Cape Reinga is the most northern point of nz and where the tasman sea and pacific ocean meet, and you can actually see them meeting, where the waves from the two meet in the middle, the tasman sea also seemed alot greener......! We stopped off on a beach near Cape Reinga for lunch and it was the best beach so far, perfect sandy beach, no peebles or stones at all just sand and perfect clear water and small sets of breaking waves!! we sunbathed for abit they all ran into the sea, it was cold but not as clod as in the bay of islands!!!! we had been the only ones there untill about one o clock when bus loads of people turned up and we decided it was time to move on......
