First impressions of Chicago are very good. It feels like an established city, graceful, beautiful buildings. Was stopped by a photographing skateboarder (because he saw me photographing I imagine), and asked what I thought was the most cool thing to see. I said I'd only been in town for a couple of hours, but I'd head for the Anish Kapoor. I'd just seen it - highly polished steel plates, in the shape of a huge bean, reflecting all around, insightfully called 'Cloud Gate'.
A bike tour booked for tomorrow and a Frank Lloyd Wright tour booked for Thursday. Now sipping craft beer. Time to listen to Gordon Lightfoot's music and stories of the Great Lakes.
'Eventually, I think Chicago will be the most beautiful great city left in the world'. Frank Lloyd Wright

Rob I love Chicago. Love it. I spent one of the best nights of my life there, in a blues bar called, er, Chicago Blue, on West Halstead. Have fun!
