Like I needed any more reason to love flying Lufthansa. The first class lounge in Frankfurt offers limo service to your plane. To walk would have been about 20 mins so they offer a ride in a Mercedes S350 limo instead. Nice touch! Then the limo driver helped me carry my bags onto the plane, up the stairs to the first class area on the big 747. I must say Lufthansa, until I can fly first on Emerites, I think you will be my favourite. Now Mumbai and I are happily ensconsed in First Class heaven, my bed is already made and my glass of champagne was at my seat before I even sat down. My seat includes a flat bed already made up with duvet, PJs waiting, a fully reclining separate seat and a very handy foot locker to keep my stuff handy (when those overhead bins are just too far away!) LOL!!
I just enjoyed truffle ravioli for lunch in the lounge so I don't know what they have planned on board but I'm sure I'll be too full for a while to have anything. Aside from the macadamia nuts they gave me with my champagne, that is...
