Washington Dc, Washington D.C. Jun 2, 2004 Well, my appointment for the second round of shots has been delayed until Friday. I was looking forward to getting it over with. Oh well.
Washington Dc, Washington D.C. May 31, 2004 Since I am heading to Kenya for the better part of two years, I will need to take my entire wardrobe and other misc. crap. In order for me to accomplish this, I needed a new huge suitcase. So I got one. It's sooo cool. Inside, there are a bunch of big pockets, a part of hanging clothes to be folded into, and even a hangable toiletries bag. It rocks!
Akron, Ohio May 28, 2004 So, my journey to Kenya began today at the Akron Health Department. I got the first round of immunizations - Hepatitis A (final one), Hepatitis B (first of 3), and yellow fever. The nurse told me that the yellow fever will probably burn a little bit. This warning did not fully prepare me for the searing, burning pain to follow. At least it didn't last too long. Next round of shots on June 4th in DC.
