Well what an excellent past few weeks! After staying in Xining for a few days suffering from altitude sickness i managed to get a train ticket to Lhasa/Tibet after some hagaling! Just a quick message for now...finding it hard to use some websites in china (facebook, hotmail, offexploring) due to the amount of control the goverment has. Facebook does not work at all and sometimes i cant upload pics or emails so i will keep in touch when i can. China, What a CRAZY country but an excellent place. Ive only been here for 6 days and ive sen things i tought i would never see! So im starting in Beijing and heading off to Xi'an on friday 28th. Beijing is an unbelievable city. Its got the maddest drivers, loudest people yet everyone gets along. The area is safe at night and everyone knows and talks to each other.
