Getting up at 7.30 for breakfast was hard but we had to get a bus and then a short boat ride over to Whale Island. The scenery on the way was amazing, lond sandy duned beaches with breakers one side, on the other side lagoons, used for fishing by the locals. Arriving at midday the weather wasnt good ( it rained heavily during lunch) but it was still a beautiful tropical island all the same! After lunch Jon Carlie and I headed to the beach where we started pissing about with a volleyball (volleyball itself was too painful), before others joined for a large game of piggy in the middle.
We planned to snorkel at an offshore coral reef the next morning but as it had been destroyed by fisherman we snorkelled in the bay. Carlie discoved clown fish and we spent some time playing with them which was amazing, although there was a little rubbish in the sea! After lunch I went on a walk around the island. The view from the top was spectacular but the rubbish left by the villagers on the other side of the island was disgusting! At supper we had a debate about accents and our tour leader got a little stressed when I said something about the queens English as a joke!
