A cramped , hot public bus took us to the Cameron highlands, it lasted 6 hours but I was asleep for most of it, which cant be bad! Everyone elseon trhe tour was staying in this amazing apartment with 2 windscreen tvs, Jon and I had a dark room with a shared bathroom(with the rest of the hotel) so we decided to sleep on the floor of the apartment instead. After a strawberry cheesecake in the T cafe we headed to another Indian where most of us ate off banana leaves. That evening we drank very expensive cheap drinks before hitting the floor!
The half day adventure tour started after a homey breakfast at 10.30. We visited a tea plantation, that was very spectacular, unlike the view at 6666 feet, as it was so misty. The trek in the moss forest was great fun, we all got covered in mud and I think everyone slipped at least once. After a quick tour of a tea making factory, we bought mugs of the local 'Boh' tea, just tasted like PG tips to me! The butterfly farm was amazing, there was such a variety of insects such as leaf frogs and scorpions, our local tour guide was great getting us to hold the insects! I had a lizard put on my head, we then played with blow darts inthe shop! The strawberry farm consisted of us heading straight to the cafe for strawberry icecream. After supper we went to watch Liverpool V Chelsea.......what a result!
