Well its finally here! Nearly 2 years of planning / preparation / more plannng / packing etc!

Today was a tough day. I know everyone says the goodbyes are the hardest part, but jeez, until you've done it you don't appriciate what its like! Emma cried, Andy cried, everyone cried, then we stopped, then we cried some more. Then we got bored of crying so we laughed but ended up crying again. No more tears left now so its safe to use the laptop. :)

We're sat here in our Hotel, The Sheraton Skyline, just outside London Heathrow ready to take our 16:15 flight tomorrow to LA, ready to start our new life in Oz! OMG!

We have managed to condense our 3 bed townhouse down into 16 boxes (3 being Emma's teds! No seriously!!!) which are now taking up residence in Andy's folks spare room. All we have to last us for the next 2 years are 1 bag each and a ten ton hand luggage bag of stuff we suddenly can't function without. Really, I never knew I needed 5 orange Chubba Chups so badly!

Thats it I think for our first of many blogs. Next one should be from LA (fingers crossed for a safe flight).
