Here it is, we've arrived after a gruelling 15 hours flight & transfer. So far so good, our plane fell out the sky for about 2 seconds leaving everyone screaming, only to land in Lima in the middle of a mud flood. Today though is hot and sunny and while strolling in the old historical Lima we've been caught between the police and a workers'demontration. We can already tell it is going to be peaceful journey... :)) We've only starting visiting this moning so more news and pictures will come, but for the moment the most surprising thing is that there doesn't seem to be many tourists around. We're really standing out (particularly Andy with his 6ft2 compared to the peruvian men half his size :) And in general people are really nice. A smile and a conversation in broken spanish can go a long way ... Time to go out and do some more sight seeing. will update you later on ### soph and andy
