Thanks for all the birthday wishes on this site and all the emails! Had a great day yesterday, spent it walking around Iguazu falls and some of the time actually IN the waterfalls whilst in a speed boat! Ha! All fun!

The day ended by drinking champagne, and drunkenly phoning reception and hanging up on them, and when they rang back, we giggled and hid from the phone! Ahh, we are such responsible adults.

Hope all are well, we´ll be seeing you soon - home in 30 days!

Hope you move into some warmer weather soon. It's not that warm here but at least it hasn't rained today, which is a bonus.

Barcelona was magnificent! You and Andy will have to go there. Sun, heat, sea, sand, lovely food and vibrant city - what more could you want! Went on 2 bus tours both 2 hours long and both very different. La Sagrada Familia was awesome. Only managed a quick peek inside and up the tower for a wonderful view of the city before we had to dash back to get ready for a night on the town! Only managed to see the amazing Guadi's work from the outside. Will have to go back to a much longer stay. Hotel great - very contemporary and right in the heart of the City! Night life was fun. We're shattered and still trying to catch up on some sleep.

Glad to hear you didn't stay in Uruguay for too long. Why did you go there anyway? I don't know what it's famous for??? Pity about the cold temps, but you'll soon thaw out when you hit Iguazu. You must write to Lonely Planet to update them on their crap accommodation. They do appreciate feedback and updates. So, Mum and I went to see Barbra Streisand at the M.E.N. last night - Fab!!! Hadn't planned to, but Mark mentioned that the £550 tickets were not being sold (I wonder why?) and that they were being reduced. Yesterday lunchtime, as your mum and I were driving through Manchester on our way to grans, we checked the availability of tickets and lo and behold we were able to purchase some at £75. We were seated at the back of the stage, but very close. Got some great views of the diva herself and also saw her on big screen, too. The voice isn't as strong as it was and she did pace herself, finding accompaniment from 4 beautiful Broadway dudes, but the old magic was still there. It was a real treat for your mum and I, as we've followed her career since Funny Girl. She sang some of our favourites. So it was ace and right out of the blue!

Today I've been in Chester to visit a friend from my Dominican Republic days. Haven't seen her for 22 years! Nice to catch up with her and meet her children. It was a cold day, so you're missing nothing here. The weather is rubbish.

You missed an amazin weekend elf- my gooooooddddddd! it was mental.

I feel a bit rough right now- and am missing my fairy wings and wand like you wouldn't beieve- amazin how much free booze you get when you are dressed as a fairy- must try it again some time.

All in all v fabulous, got ace prezzies and now wanting to sleep for a few days- timk we got about 6 hours in total from Thurs - Sun- Christ on a bike!

REALLY nice to hear from you all - we are still have an amazing time, and don`t really want to come back to swampy old england and reality - we will definately be making the most of our last 5 wks here!

Anyway, just a quick note to wish my big sister, Kate, an amazing hen party this weekend! Wish i could be there, but looking forward to the 2nd round in August! Don`t worry, from what i hear, no lamposts, nakedness or handcuffs have been mentioned! (just bunny ears, L plates and a male stripper!! hahar!) Enjoy Barcelona and have a few drinks for me, although i doubt you lot need any bloody encouragement!!

Howdo guys, I can't believe you've picked up skiing so quickly, I still have trouble sledging :)! The pics look amazing but I think the best one is of Andrew and you're afro haha it's almost as big as Ash's! I've only recently got back from my own travels. I cycled to Maidenhead on the canal last week just to go out for a party . It took me two days but I did cheat a bit between Coventry and Oxford. Hope you're both ok and still having lots of fun, but having said that anything beats research on internal sheep parasites haha .StE x x

Just remembered why I was writing! You won't have to go to Sheffield to ski, there's a monstrous new ski slope next to the Trafford Centre.
