Hi Andy, How ya doin. Soz I've only just got the chance to leave a msg, that Chris is never off t'internet, (says he's studying - my eye!!!). Had a look at your photos I am really upset you did not take me, I would have really enjoyed some of those walks, boy I would have loved to do some Bear Ass chasing!!!! M&D went off on holiday (again!!!) last week, but it was brill coz Laura took me home with her and I lived on a farm for a week it was ace!!! Loads of new stuff to smell and chase. I had my own chair in the farmhouse and pretended to be off my food (as if...), so Laura's mum bought me Chicken for M&S...well cool!!! Glad you are havin such a great time, don't worry about me I'll be fine...(feeling guilty yet?). Better go now as Chris is getting all excited coz he's spotted four squirrels in the gardedn (big deal!!!), so I better go and make like I'm interested. Oh well, same old, same old!!!
Come back soon I miss ya. Woof-woof lick lick waggle tail!!!
Fat Lad
Hello out there! Thought I'd stick a quick msg on while I've got the chance! Hope everyone is well, we are both fine and doing swell! Was loving the msg from you Lew, and it's funny that you should mention Scary Movie 3 as me and Mark watched it about a week ago, and to answer your question YES I do remember the daft alien walking thing and I was pissing myself when it came on and immediately thought of you and Rory!! I can't believe I missed Crufts aswell, I'm sure whatever won though is not a patch on Danny!! What else can I write, Oh yes C'MON MAN U for Saturday against the Scum (sorry Steve, Arsenal!), I'm going for a 3-0 score line to Man U with Fletcher getting all three!! (which will be more than Henry will get if the rumours are true, hey Bobby what's the French for no FA Cup Final!!). We will actually be in Juneau for the match which is the Capital of Alaska for those that didn't know (not Anchorage) which will be cool, unfortunatley (for Mark anyway!) we will be on a Ferry when the Champions League Final is on (Unlucky Son!). While we're on about Footy I must just give a quick shoutout to Jimbo for Man U relegating the Saints to the First Division (sorry the Championship!) and that shoutout is.................... AH WELL S*@? HAPPENS!! (Sorry Son. but seriously!!). Anyhow that's all I wanted to say really for the time being, good luck to everyone who is just finishing Uni I love and miss all of you, Mum, Dad, Chris, Megwin, I love and miss you all too, and a big shoutout to all of the Mccurries aswell.
Take it Easy,

Hi Son, Just a quick message to say hello. This is my first day back at work after 2 weeks off so I'm a bit brain dead at the moment!!! I opened the webcam message you sent from Kathie's, I got some funny looks from my colleagues as they wanted to know why I was stroking my screen... (just giving your chin a bit of a tickle and stroking your hair...). From the messages below you and Mark seem to be having fun. You'll have to tell me more about Pastor Sue...
Well I'll sign off now and catch up with some more work.
Take care both of you. Hope to speak to you soon Andy. Lots and lots of love.

Hey folks! This is the second attempt to write this msg. We eventually got the ferry from Wrangell to Petersburg, it was delayed as one ship M/V Columbia had broken down so another ship M/V Kennicott had to be se-conded. The ferry was supposed to arrive at 05:00am so we were up at 04:00am - Mint! The ferry was actually due in at 07:00am and wasn't due to depart until 10:30am - Good effort! So basically we got up 5hrs early for nothing! So we went back to hostel/church for a kip. Pastor Sue had made us some macaroons for the journey, which was v nice of her. Journey was only 3hrs, very scenic, the channels between the islands were extremely narrow. Got to Pete'sburg at 1:30pm and trudged up to the hostel. Very nice place. We settled in and found some cherry pie and beer that someone had left... we had those and then went into town later to watch Man Utd and Chelsea game. We couldn't find it on anywhere so we got some grub and went back to this bar - Kito's Kave to see if it was on then. We ended up chatting to this guy and the lady he was with, they ended up buying us a drink - which soon turned into 5. The place is a fishermans bar, a bit like the one from The Perfect Storm but no George Clooney. Ended up playing pool and havin a great time with Richard, Kim, and David - and i thought my beard was bushy!!?? A self-proclaimed redneck lady from California bought us another drink. Everyone was really friendly and we had a great time - made a few requests on the music aswell, Led Zeppellin, Sabbath, and Andy's choice, the legends that are the Backstreet Boys (i'm not joking, u can't beat a bit of AJ, Kevin, Brian, Nick, and the other dude! Bring them back, all the stuff now is crap, bring back the masters!!!!) It got turned off before i could start dancing. Not good. We went back to Davids boat for a beer (pretty pissed by now). But first we had to take these two pissed up guys back to their house (David drives a taxi) they kept trying to sell us dungeness crab. We then headed back to Davids boat. We got talking about all sorts of stuff, he was in Vietnam, and he was telling us about his theory for the cause of global warming and el nino. He was an intelligent guy, i just like to think i am coz im trying to read a book by Stephen Hawking. We saw the Northern Lights aswell, very faint in the sky. David ran us back to the hostel for free and we hit the hay. We are leaving in about 5hrs at 03:30am. Going up to Sitka, which is a 13hr trip - yeh, can't wait??!! Hope everyone is ok, and hopefully this msg will be posted this time!! Love to everyone, take care of yourselves, Mark and Andy. Ive been trying to get a phone card for days now, but they're a bit scarce up here, so sorry Claire i promise we will speak soon, u can have ur prezzie this Friday/Saturday, Love ya!

Hi Mark, Just thought I would pop a quick message on the board, seeing as I have only just had my lunch sitting at my desk yet again!!! Thanks for phoning last night. Sounds like you enjoyed your little sing song in the church on Sunday, don't want you to get out of the habit now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds like Pastor Sue looked after you and it is nice to hear how friendly everyone is on your travels, not sure about Dale though. Hope the ferry arrives on time. I have spoken to Claire today and if you read this message in time, she will be at Stephen's house tonight if you want to phone her. Package arrived safe and sound yesterday, is the radio Andy's? Had a quick look on the internet for Wrangle Alsaka, and it looks idyllic. Moved in to block 11F offices now and there is a lot of drilling going on outside, lots of workmen and we are all waiting for the diet coke break, but unfortunately they do not look like the ones on TV, hey ho! back to my work. Take care, say hi to Andy, love you lots and speak soon Mum XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxxx

Yo Yo Yo! Hello all or Y'all!! We are in Alaska. We left Quesnel last Saturday morning, thanks again to Kathie, George, Janet, Victor and Nicole for a great time we both really enjoyed it. We got to Prince Rupert as Kathie described, on Saturday evening. We checked in to the very nice hostel, we were two of four people staying there. We had a wander round the town the next day and spoke to Ma n' Pa from traditional English red phone box. We got a lift to ferry port in morning, our tickets were there waiting for us. We then geared up for the grilling from the US customs, which was actually fine, we showed our visa things and went straight through??!! Arrived in Ketchikan 6hrs later and got a taxi to hostel- which wasn't open until June, so we went to another one. Really nice place set back on a stupidly steep hill looking out over town. Hostel host was Dale- an interesting character to say the least, liked to swear and throw things around that weren't his, but on the whole he was cool, let us off a days rent and wished us well when we left. Didn't do much in Ketchikan, watched the pool beat chelsea, sort of? They've had a lotta luck this season so its about time we had some. Walked around and ate. I bought a cowboy hat, hence cowboy in brackets, was only $10. Left K for Wrangell, another 6hrs i think? Journey was much nicer, weather wise. We saw two Orca pods, thats the proper name for a killer whale family apparently. Saw some porpoise's and fish jumping out of water. Scenery was spectacular. Got to Wrangell at night and walked up to where we thought hostel was. We couldn't find it and it was getting late, the towns streets were dead so there was no-one to ask. We did eventually see a couple of people in a taxi who told us that the hostel was in the church, some girls told us the same aswell, so we had a nosey. We ended up kipping on the floor of a room upstairs. Didn't get much sleep as we were wary of getting arrested or something? So we were up at about 5am Andy went for a mad walk and i walked about the town. Met up later for some brekkie, still no idea if the church was the hostel? So we went and played some b-ball, then spoke to the Pastor who lived next door and sorted it all out. We were ok to stay in one of the rooms in the church, which was used by the hostel but not usually till June. Pastor Sue drove us round town in her jeep and showed us the whole town, and also gave us some local smoked salmon. We went to the local museum and went to Petroglyph beach to see some ancient rock carvings. I went to the service yesterday morning for a sing song, and i got introduced by Pastor Sue, so i stood up and gave everyone a wave. It was Mothers Day here yesterday so that was one of the themes. It was good to see what a small town American community was like, everyone was really friendly and welcoming, and there was a s*** load of very nice food afterwards! We are going on to Petersburg, Sitka, Skagway, Juneau and Whittier next, then to Anchorage for our flight back to Vancouver on May 31st. Hopefully all ferries will be on time as the one we were supposed to get today has been delayed as the engine is foooked! Happy birthday to Lee N, i think it was his birthday on 8th May? Happy bday anyway mate!! Love to all, hope everyone is ok, take care Mark.
