Today was our first day of actual touring and it was so exciting. First we went to go pick up the other group from Arizona from the airport. From there we went to the Boston Common. The Boston Common was an old Puritan Cow Pasture that is now a sort of park and communal area. It was way bigger compared to all the other parks I have ever been in. After that we went to a nice garden area nearby. It had lots of pretty flowers and trees. It also was surrounded by a lot of tall and beautiful buildings. These were way taller than anything I had seen in my home town or Oklahoma City. Then we went down on Commonwealth street. It contained a lot of wonderful houses, ones that you could never really experience in a book or photograph. From there we walked to the Trinity Church. I love architect and this was one of my favorite places architecture-wise. Next to the church was another beautiful building, The Boston Library. Next to that was the Boston Marathon Memorial. After that we headed down to this mall-plaza-shoppingcenter-thing where we had lunch. Right after a delicous taste of Boston we got started touring again. We got to see the most amazing buildings. One of the coolest was the Christian Science Church. Next we went to Little Italy where we visited a graveyard, The Old North Church, and Paul Revere's house. We then stopped for some delicious Conoli at Mike's Pastries. After Little Italy, we saw the Holocaust Memorial and then went a block away to have supper at Quincy Market where I ate the best Ice Cream ever. The first day of touring was so fun. I got to learn stuff about Boston that could only be learned with a hands on experience.
