My mate got me a job of sorts, it's a vodafone call centre selling mobile phones. I am still doing my trip but for the next two weeks I have to turn up to an office just north of Brisbane and proove that I'm an above average phone rep. BUT after that two weeks they will give me a mobile phone with unlimited credit so that I can make calls and sales WHILE I'm travelling around the country! After sleeping in, I wandered through the Brisbane botanical gardens (which are very beautiful ) and came across "Governers house" (pictured). I spent the rest of today travelling on the ferry further up the Brisbane river than I have ever been before. The ferry system in Brisbane is awesome for pocket change you can weave along the Brisbane river gaining access to all parts of the city. Well, my mate and I left at 11pm Friday night and headed for Brisbane. After 6 hours of rain falling on my backpack which could only fit in the open tray of the back of the ute I was in we made it to Brisbane just after 3pm on Saturday. So today (Sunday) after a 16 hour sleep I've come into Brisbane for a look around and hopefully the opportunity to take some good photos.
