SEASONS GREETINGS TO EVERYONE! I love Pai..........many a time those words are uttered by it\'s visitors! I can see why! A little town nestled in the hills of Northern Thailand, Pai has an eclectic mix of residents and visitors alike. The residents consist of Burmese, Chinese, Thai and Thai hill tribe people. Religion is both Buddhist and Muslim. Additionally, there seem to be a reasonable number of western people that came through this part of the world some time ago......and never left! Whilst it has now firmly established itself on the backpacking/travellers route around Northern Thailand, Pai remains one of the lesser visited places which ensures it retains some of it\'s charm.......I don\'t think that it will last for long though as there is already talk of an airport and 5 star resorts in the next 3 years....luck I got here when I did! I have been here for just over two weeks now having anticipated staying for 3-4 days.....Pai is just like that! I will be here until the New Year then it looks like I will be heading over to Laos and working my way down following the Mekong River towards Cambodia.
