Yesterday I went up to Stanley Park to visit the Vancouver aquarium. During the walk through the park I spotted a squirral just roaming round a park bench. It was a nice photo opportunity . The aquarium is big and filled with lots of different marine life. I caught feeding demonstrations of fish from the Georgia Strait, sea otters and dolphins. They have even got a couple of Beluga whales too. The aquarium also hosts the only 4D theatre in Western Canada. Jellyfish are naturals when taking photos of them.
After wondering round the aquarium for just over two hours, I continued walking round the perimeter of Stanley park. I managed to walk to just past the Lions Gate bridge before I turned back due it starting to get cold and dark.
Today after breakfast I'd discovered that my eftpos card was missing. It was weird since I haven't touched or used my cards since arriving in Canada. After a fruitless search of my bags and personal belongings, I called up the bank to cancel and send me a new card. I also called my parents to inform them of my situation.
It is one of our family traits that I thought I didn't acquire-the ability lose or misplace things. I have been Canada for 8 days and have already manage to lose something already.
Two hours after original post.
My card has been found. Someone had handed into the office and is now safely back on me. The downside is that is null and void due to being cancelled earlier in the morning
