Today we set off for Brisbane. Bit of a long drive, so we had some stops to break it up! For breakfast we pulled into a little town called Nimbin, a really hippy little place where no one wears shoes and everyone smoked weed. We were reminded to be careful about which cakes we bought! Next few stops were along the Gold Coast, Surfer's Paradise and Noosa, then on to Brisbane, arriving at 6pm. We had only found out yesterday that the Arctic Monkeys were playing tonight in Brisbane, but their tickets sold out ages ago! A bit disheartened, we got some food and had some drinks when at 8.45 we thought, what the hell, lets just try and get in to the concert!We got a taxi down to the arena, found some desperate people trying to sell tickets, and were inside by 9.15!! It was amazing! They were great! Being in Brisbane for only one night, we definitely made the most of it!
