Hi to you both,
Are you both shattered after six weeks of work? It must have been extremely exhausting for highways engineer Andrew painting all those yellow lines and for deputy sheriff Sarah having to round up those 'baddies' (how can you tell when most Australians are descended from criminals). I bet you are really looking forward to your christmas break. I reckon if I worked like you on a 6 weeks on 6 months off basis it means I am owed 36 years holiday.
I hope you both survive christmas turkey off the barbie, sprouts and the christmas pud may be a problem. I am told there is to be a mass clan meeting of the escape committee in Ormskirk over the christmas season to make plans for an evacuation in May, I wonder why?
Have you been keeping up with the footie? Brum have a new manager, Alex McLeish. I have a bad feeling about January. We have Man Utd., then Arsenal, the Chelsea and a FA cup match against Huddersfield. Chances of going into the relegation zone seem high. I have switched my support in the cup to Chasetown, my other godson plays for them. They beat Port Vale in the 4th round and now face Cardiff in the 3rd. Whist Brum play Huddersfield I will be at Chasetown. I will be back at St. Andrews for our match against Chelsea. I still recall that score line Chelsea 0 Brum 1 earlier this year. I know our Bruce designed wall failed but perhaps Mc Leish will have a better plan.
May I wish you a merry christmas and an adventerous new year. I look forward to following your exploits. Thank you for letting us in on your trip, so far, it has been quiet revealing! The sights have been spectacular, the hats a laugh, the smoking habits strange and we will not comment on the beard, it is after all the season of goodwill.
Over the next six months are we to see you dismantle the Sydney harbour bridge to take with you to China to sell for scrap? (you could make a few bob) or paint Ayers rock red white and blue and shout knickers to the republicans or maybe even take to the high seas and become a south seas pirate? I think not, it will be more moans about numb bums and long journies with the odd stop for more booze or another party.
Keep on going
Seasons Greetings to you all

Hello there!
Thanks for your text Koogs, was really good to hear from you! And congrats on the job Andrew, must be scary working in a different country. Koogs you must be like a "lady who lunches" now then, haha! Me & Ben are still happy in love, no plans to move in just yet though...not like the Vickster...have you heard her & Nath have bought a house? ..very grown up!! I'm still training for my accountancy qualification (it's taking alot of willpower to carry on studying!), Ive got 2 exams at the start of December and then I can relax for xmas. It's gonna be another 2 years before I'm qualified..can you believe that?! It'll all be worth it though. And Ben's doing the same exams as me which is nice coz we can study together. God my life sounds boring compared to yours, lol!
Well I'm very jealous of the fact that its summer over there and we're stuck in this cold country. Ive had to scrape ice off my car for the past 3 mornings!! And you know how much I hate the cold Koogs! A girl I work with is going to Australia for 4 weeks over xmas, it sounds so good, everyone seems to be going there at the moment. Are you not gonna feel a bit weird though spending xmas day on the beach?! I'm hoping we get some snow this year! (only on xmas day though!).
Anyway happy travelling and I hope you find a job soon Koogs (anyone would be mad not to employ you, your the most efficient person I know!). Take care both of you,
