Our trip so far....

when i'm writing this it's almost 9 weeks since we left home with big expectations and a tiny feeling of confusion. we hadn't really umderstood what this trip was all about, we're still feeling that way to be honest... the reason why I say that is: it still feels like it's 1 week since we left the home country, and it feels like we have just about 1 week left. it has felt like that from the beginning and i bet it will continue all the way to July 7th. wierd!

anyhow, the other day a dear friend asked us to tell what has been the highlights of the trip so far, and that got us thinking. and it's really not easy to tell. because there has been so many: the temples of Angkor, the sunset and the following toilet bucket! in Sihanouville, all the beautifull people we met on the GAP trip, the cosy little town of Hoi An, ALL of Laos (we love Lao!), our post trip week with Emma on Koh Phi Phi, and the visit from mums* 2 and Andrine in the holidays. it hs all been so great in different ways and it wouldn't bee fair picking one. but at least I know that i love the feeling of waking up n the morning, knowing that you're not supposed to do anything today, and neither the following 6 months!!

and there haven't really been many dark sides of the trip. the only thing really was to be a passenger on the roads in Vietnam, they really doesn't know how to drive! and the previous meanchioned chicken incident i Saigon.

tomorrow (monday) is our last day in Thailand, since we're leaving for a short stop in Singapore on tuesday. then it's Aussie-Time after that. we're looking forward to it!
