We've been busy the last two days. Completed our trip to Melbourne. We were anxious to get here so we booted it here in just less then 4 hours from Lakes Entrance. Once settled into our place we took a tram into town and then took a guided tour around the city just to get our bearings. Finished off at the Victorian Arts Centre where we were lucky enough to get tickets to see the stage performance of War Horse. Who could believe that creative puppetry would bring breathing, galloping & full size horses to life. Actually made me cry. Great show!
Temp. 40C .. And that's not a typo.
We spent a few hours today at Queen Victoria Market. This is where Melburnians shop for fresh produce and have for the last 130 years. Of course, these days, many many other delightful things. Think Granville Market on steroids. Very interesting and colourful place.
Temp. 25C .. Now that's more like it!

Ruby Puppetry has come a long way since the days of Punch & Judy. I would love to hear more about the show and pass on some details for my brother to look into, I'm sure he would be very interested!
