After chilling out in Don Det for 5 nights it was time to move on so we headed to Champasak as there was a another ancient temple here that we wanted to see.
The morning after we got there we hired a moped to go and see the ruins. It was only once I got on the back of the moped that I realised it was tiny. Usually I can't touch the floor properly but on this bike I could put both my feet flat on the floor. This meant that my knees were almost touching my chin once we were moving. Casson thought I was exaggerating so I made him sit on the back and try it, needless to say he then agreed with me.
The temple was really nice, it was up on a hill so the views were amazing. When we got there we could see loads of really big dragon flies whizzing about, everyone just walked past them without so much as flinching. I walked past convinced they were dive bombing me so may have made a small scene!
The next day we got a bus to Pakse, hung around there all day and then got a night bus to Vientiane.
