Tuesday was a VERY tiring day. To start off the day, we woke up at 7:30, headed to breakfast, and left the hotel at 8:30am. The first place of the day we went to was Arlington Cemetery. At Arlington Cemetery, we walked around and respected the lives lost fighting for our country. After the Arlington Cemetry, we hopped on the bus to go see the Marine Memorial. At the memorial, we took pictures and tried to solve the theories of the statue for ourselves. Shorty after, we headed to lunch at the food court in the Pentagon mall. About an hour later, we drove the bus over to Mount Vernon. At Mount Vernon, we had the opportunity to go inside George and Martha Washington's house! We also got the chance to walk around his massive land and see the slave houses, barns, farms, and more. When we were finished at Mount Vernon, we then headed to dinner at Nandos! Nando's was delicious! Once everyone was done eating, we got ready to go on our Alexandria ghost tour. In the ghost tour, we were told spooky stories, and had a few chills and screams along with it. After the long day, we then headed to the bus to go to the hotel for the much needed sleep.
