Just thought you ought to know that Paddington has been eating Marmite sandwiches instead of marmalade!!!!!!! I don't know if he has told you, but he has even been advertising it on T.V wHATEVER NEXT!
Travelling around New Zealand in a camper van looks like great fun! Keep safe on the roads, we're thinking of you lots and enjoying all the glimpses into your travels. Autumn is just around the corner- the days are shorter and it is cooler in the evenings.
love from the Enfield crew.
Malcolm And Rachel (And Rosie)
We've just returned from our not so exotic holidays - doing Christian House and Church Swapping. We were in the New Forest for a week, then Exeter for another couple. Weather was pretty good on the whole, with some really great weather and the odd spell of rain. Rosie is now up and crawling about and this is adding to the stress - having to be vigilant all the time. We were also up in the Lake District for a week - went to Keswick, then up to my parents in Edinburgh. Feeling really refreshed and chilled out, altho' not looking forward so much to starting teaching on the Monday. Still enjoying (and envious - in a good Christian sort of way of course) your blog and all your exciting travels,Bye for now,Malcolm

Hi R & A
Happy landings in Oz (they have worse things there than small ants so WATCH OUT!!).Thanks for your postcard with the happy bad tooth Asian lady-it makes Chris laugh! (several possible dental causes -either intrinsic/extrinsic staining-eg fluorosis, metabolic liver problems etc etc-doesn't stop her smiling and why not!!?she can't get an NHS dentist there -but please don't get me started on that......).
Your blog is going great-well done for keeping up with it! Are you tired at all with all the travel? You do though get chance to rest and have seen some marvelous scenery and some not so good I guess?! How are the Christian contacts going? You have had chance to study practical comparative religion- you will be in demand for homegroup talks later!
Well I'm still in the doldrums.I have a late teacher application in now but it probably is too late for this Sept? I'll see...
Otherwise kids and H are on holiday and Chris & I have played some tennis. We are off on Thursday to Spain (might meet some Catholics!).Hope Kate is OK and you all had a good time.I haven't yet had time to see all your blog photos but I will try to as I said the blog is great. I will email you later of course with more personal and Church/local news.Meantime keep safe-thinking and praying for you, love & best wishes
R & co (BTW 24 Drovers was still there last I looked- H saw some people leaving recently....)

Hi Richard & Ana,
Good to hear from you and read your blog, I enjoyed reading about our experience at the restaurant by the river in Vientienne and photo of us also (fame at last). My particular favourite was the splendour of those painted chairs, the graphic to add to your tale!
best wishes
Jonathan

Hi Richard and Ana
Been looking at your Thailand photos. It looks great. We're particularly interested as Miriam is planning a world trip leaving in October, also going to Delhi and Thailand. It was nice to see Kate on the photos - I bet you were pleased to meet up again. Still raining here in England
Hello too to Steve and Elaine, if they read this!
Love, Wendy

Dear Ana and Richard, Just caught up with you in Cambodia. We've been on our own tour - through France via the Massif Central, down the east coast to southern Spain and then back up the West side of Spain and France. 4000 miles Ted tells me, and six weeks, and we came back quite tired. Would love to do your trip, but think we're a little too old now for such inconveniences! Ted has not been too well since we got back and had to be rushed to hospital, his pulse rate was at the mid 30s. He's home and recovering now, but quite scary at the time. The reason - his medication was slowing his heart too much. Apart from that we have just had our 2nd wedding anniversary - he arrived home on that evening so the best present I could have had. Hope you continue to enjoy the trip - you'll have met your daughter today, what a wonderful reunion that will be. Love Jan and Ted

Hi Richard and Ana
It is good to read your latest exploits! It is also good to catch up with where you are now (I last heard of you in SriLanka)-somewhere in the far east! (further east than east Suffolk!! my geography of those far eastern parts needs improving).
Anyway we think of and pray for you regularly. I will email you soon with our news which is mostly humdrum normal stuff and not at all exciting like yours! So take care and keep having fun (you must be half way there to wherever you are going on your world cruise!-I mean world mission). It does sound like your travels and experiences are going well. We look forward to keeping in touch & we send all our love and best wishes to you,
Richard, Hilary, Chris and Elizabeth

Glad to hear all is goin g well. The soap opera sounds intriguing. We,ve just had four marvellous days in North Wales. It was sunny every day. We went on some of the narrow guage railways. Lots to see. Kate collected the car ok thanks to our neighbour who held the car keys while we were away. Kate is very well organised and nice with it according to Ernest - but we knew that anyway. Love and prayers as ever. Colin and Beryl.

Hello Richard and Ana,
We are having a very wet start to the half term so Mark and I are enjoying looking at your photos. We all had a great time in Wells last week - the weather was relly warm and sunny! We missed our origami napkins at breakfast time though Richard, so you were greatly missed.
Not sure where you will be on Wednesday but have a really happy birthday - I'll take a cake in on Monday on your behalf!
Best wishes to you both
Margaret and Mark
