Lom, see if you can try an alcoholic drink called dawa, I drink alot of it in Kenya BUT make sure you drink it with crushed ice and stir it well! (remember dawa in swahili means medicine as you are drinking it)

What does my lord and master want me to do today?? photos look amazing and certainly beat Barcelona for anecdotes.... can't wait to see all the other ones you take and don't have chance to upload... Amy - look after him - you may have to take all books from reach in order that he actually experiences Africa!! Try not to pet the lions as cute as they are... (if you can smuggle a little one back that'd be cool!!) I've heard the snakes like getting under the tents - now's the time to put all that camping practice to good use and make sure teh tents well pitched!! (see dad told you it'd be useful someday)

It's really difficult travelling without "plastic" isn't it - it reminds me of when Granddad first went to Jersey in 1963 after his heart attack and he had to phone grandma to ask her to go to the bank to send cash to him.

So, how are you? How's life treating you, pretty well i suppose!Hope you take loads of pictures, Africa is such a beautiful continent, take in the views.Can't tell you how jealous i am.
P.s great website, love the elephant pic, mite try and save the image. Make sure you slap on plenty of suncream etc, drink plenty of water and watch out for them bloody mozzies, they'r a little bi more vicious than the standard UK midges, yikes! As cute as they are, don't pat the lions.
