Amy what an amazing trip. I am planning a trip in 2007 of around 2-3 weeks based on what you are studying with emphasis on the animals. I'd love some ideas when you get back.
Enjoy your trip, I am soooo jealous

Grandma
Havng another go at getting a message to you. Did it all wrong yesterday. Tina says she thinks it is on your message board, so "wrong again" "Mother". She spares me no parsnips (whatever that means). Will be in touch again when I can think of something coherent and meaningful to say. Keep taking your vitamins and Tina says make sure you eat those sausages up - and don't forget your inhalers. Tee, Hee.
Love,
Grandma and Tina. xx

Jean (Annette's Friend!)
Amazing web site! Can I nick pictures for my Biology lessons in which wilderbeest and Olduvai gorge figure often. Dead jealous of you actually seeing the latter! read lots about Zanzibar too....WOW! Want to hear even more when you get back Tom! Best wishes!
Dad
Amy the Crockidile Hunter. Those were some pretty close up pictures you took. I estimated you were within 5 feet of that black mamba. Have fun in Zanzibar, and should you two decide to get wed while over there I want an invitation. I would like to meet that young man of yours soon.
Tomdad
See, I told you that tent erecting is a vital life-skill. Excellent photos and glad everything is going well. I particularly like the one of the wildebeest waiting at the zebra-crossing. The photo at Olduvai shows the rich spectrum of human development to its ultimate conclusion - Tom and Amy.
If you can find the opportunity I'd like a map of Tanzania, preferably a 1:100,000 or 1:25,000 showing a part of what you have visited, otherwise a stick of rock for Father's Day.
Hope to see you soon.
Love,
Dad
Grandma
Just been looking at your wonderful pictures. Very enjoyable. I wonder if you can see me, tina bought me a web cam, but don't know how it works. Managed to wriggle my way through to your pictures, but it was quite an effort. However, it is really stupendous being able to see what you are doing so far away from UK. Will keep looking when you send more pics, in joy and wonderment.
Mom
Amy and Tom. I am so glad you are safe. The pictures are truly amazing. I can't stop looking at them. It makes me happy that you two look so excited! Thank you for this adventure! Love, Mom.
