We have great plans for the day. It's raining. We FaceTime family and go down for breakfast. Packing time. It's amazing how a few extra things makes it that much harder to fit it all in! We wait till the rain lessons then check out and head to our new hotel. It's not too far. We have to wAit some time in line before we are told we cannot check in yet, but we can leave our luggage. We head off to the mall. We get there in time to see the first presentation of water and music of the fountain. It's a lot shorter than I expected! Barely a few minutes. We have a close up view of the burnt hotel. It's pretty horrendous. We do a little shopping and then see if Malcolm can get a dental appointment. He can. In 4 hours time. It's a lot of time to kill and we are tired. No old town visit for us unfortunately. It's not where we expected and the weather is not favourable. The teeth need to be seen though. We sit. We wander the mall and see the aquarium. Malcolm gets an email that throws us - apparently our hotel for tonight has been canceled. What? We rush to check the credit card is ok and it is thankfully. Malcolm emails them. Our stuff is there and I saw the booking paper. We get to the dentist and fill the paperwork. We get an email back - phew, no problem. Just a mistake! Malcolm's tooth is very bad and he needs a root canal. We decide to get done tonight whatever we can. Goodbye $300. We definitely need to see the dentist more regularly!! We eventually get to our hotel and checked in. It's nice. Like a small suite and a lounge room. The bed is much softer so I hope I sleep well.
