It's such a nice thing, time and privacy. We take our time eating and packing up. We take our bags with us and head back to the cathedral for more photos it's beautiful to sit in the sun. We head to the main square then along the river. At the bus station we figure out the next cheapest bus then head to a small park nearby for lunch. The bus trip isn't too long. Less than 2 hours. Edinburgh is amazing! Houses on hills and walled towns. Cobbled streets and medieval buildings. Alleys and bridges. We check in and get settled then head out to explore and find dinner. We see greyfriers bobby. The pub and the dog. Dinner ends up being Indian. We evolve the streets and end up at Edinburgh castle. It's not as castle-ish as I imagined. We hear bagpipe music from inside. We get pictures and head back to the hostel for bed. A lofted 30 bed dorm tonight. Earplugs and eye mask for sure.
