Tuesday 1 September I'm coming down with something. I can feel it. Especially my throat and body aches. We check out and wait for the bus. It's free close to the airport. We get checked in and through security where we eat something for breakfast. The duty free stores are high end! Prada, harrods and Hermes! It's nice to look in from the windows. The gate doesn't show up on the board till late. We end up leaving late as the plane arrived late. I try and sleep. ...

Monday 31 August I wake earlier than necessary unfortunately. I go down and collect our washing and fold it. We pack before a light breakfast. I'm feeling mildly ill. We leave not long after 7am for the train station. It's been such a nice weekend. It's very wet today. We get on the train and it's pretty deserted. Sunday 30 August We want to leave about 9:30am to make it to the Peak District by 11. I hang my washing load out and Jonathan cooks an English breakfast. Also a cooked NZ breakfast. The day is fine but overcast. We make it to the uncles house by 11:15 and visit with him and some neighbours, one who is to be our tour guide today. Saturday 29 August We get up and enjoy a lovely breakfast of waffles! Off to a small church about 40-50min away. It's a bit long, but we are back for lunch at 3pm after stopping to see john whitcliffe's church. After lunch we head to a park to walk. It's part of lady jane greys land. She was queen for 9 days before being beheaded by Mary. Jonathan's parents come with us and back for dinner. We make plans for tomorrow and enjoy the spa pool.

Friday 28 August Once we are up we FaceTime my family. Malcolm then rings the Mongolian consulate and we are happy to discover that yes, they are open on Monday. Once we have breakfast we pack and ready our stuff for leaving. We check out a few buildings around the train station, but My feet don't find it fun with my 10kg bag.
