I'm awake early because the older couple get up and talking quite loudly with the door open and the light shining in. It's not even 6am yet! Oh well. When we arrive at 8:15 we make our way out of the station and to the bus we need to catch. A few ppl approach us about taxis. We get off at stop 9. It's complicated to find and we walk up and down the street. Eventually someone helps is and we enter an apartment building and the man helps us check in. It's very basic and the beds are so hard! Must be a Chinese thing! We settle in and catch up on internet things and research. We decide to go to the terracotta warriors today.
It's a long journey by bus. Two buses actually. I fall asleep. When we get there it takes a little bit to find the entrance and then a walk into the park. There are three main pits where the soldiers are found. It's pretty impressive. I don't get why they where made though. We walk back through souvenir markets and back for the long journey home. We rest for awhile before going downstairs and buying some food. It's a little tricky but we use our translation app and the restaurant with pictures is most helpful. There is a dish that comes with some sort of meat but we eat the mushrooms and celery out of it. Lastly we buy some bread and water. Shower, and then to our very hard bed.
