Wednesday 15th April
There's no rush to get up this morning. We have breakfast and pack up our stuff. Then wait around for the bus to pick us up at 10. We are off to Potosi about 3.5hours away. It's apparently the highest city in the world. We see quite a few goat herders on the way. I nap on the bus and when we arrive at our hotel we go out for lunch. I order falafels and mal pizza. The food takes forever to come. Ours maybe an hour. There are only 4 small falafels but lots of sauce and salad. Malcolm let's me eat some of his pizza. The food is cheap. Only about $10aud. We then go on a walking tour and see the beautiful old buildings. Sadly there is little care for preservation on colonial houses. Dinner will be at 7. We relax in our room and enjoy sucre chocolate. During our tour I see a few yummy things I want to try. Black kisses. Chocolate cases filled with banana cream and deep fried pastry with warm honey. I also spot a vegetarian restaurant we might try for lunch.
Dinner was ok, but not great. We look forward to bed.
