well hello!

my first official foreign blog! It has been a nightmare! Obviously could not go to Bangkok, so am in Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is not a 5* as advertised, but it's probably the best bed I'll be staying in for a while so I shant complain too much!! we're the only English here which is nice for a change, but also daunting sometimes. We have come to the conclusion do not trust anybody, Malaysians seem to lie to you about everything!

On the plus side, the pool areas are lovely, have wild monkeys and peacocks running round everywhere, the staff are mostly really helpful. We are in a place called Port d*** on...and looking to leave asap, there is nothing to do here at all really, outside the hotel is a dive. We might leave for Kuala Lumpur centre sooner so we can do some trips and see some of the country! The weather is tropical, really sweaty, not that sunny, just unbearably hot..just the way I like it! I look like a milk bottle, mum is like a black man! Sue bless her is covered in bites.. apparentl sand flies, when we have not even been near sand as the beaches are not very nice or safe.

Looking forward to arriving in Aus I must say! will be sad to leave Mum, but Got my dad's bosses daughter meeting me at the airport. Seriously going to have to re think my backpack before I leave...there is wheeey too much crap in there. Right my time is, sorry it was short and sweet, might do another entry before I leave KL, will have more to say then.
