On our way to Coober Pedy!!

We had a big driving day today, we travelled from The Coorong to Port Augusta, going through a few towns - Salt Creek, Mt Barker ( where we had to stop at a 4wd shop), Hahndorf (where we had a look through some little shops), Dublin, Port Wakefield and Snowtown. We saw the giant lobster at Kingston!

We saw the Obelisk at Robe. We read that it was originally white, but there were complaints that it blended in with the limestone that they had to paint the stripes around it. Back in the day it was used to store rockets to help stranded ships. It was so windy that we didn't stay for long. We saw a seal in the sea there as well.

We went into Mt Gambier this morning!! The weather was absolutely disgusting! Pouring with rain and extremely windy. We saw the sink hole. The greenery was beautiful! As the weather was so bad, we missed seeing the blue lake!
