Sorry we haven't blogged for a while we have been very busy. We got a very nice sleeper train up to the North after our post on Monday and have been pretty busy since our arrival. We hired a moped each and explored the city and surrounding areas including: numerous temples, waterfalls, a flower market, the umberella and textiles villages, a (boiling) hot spring and an evening bazaar. It was soooo fun using the modeps and meant we could see a lot more than we would have otherwise, they also cost just one pound eighty to fill up!!

Today we spent the day at a lovely thai lady's house in the country learning the traditional way to Batik. We both loved it and managed to get rid of some of our creative energy! Tomorrow morning we are embarking on a Thai cooking course (we will treat you all when we are home), before getting a bus to Pai (slightly further north and a bit west), where we plan on booking our 2/3 day white water rafting trip.

It has all been 'go' since we have been here, but amazing all the same. We have just 11 nights here until our flight home, which we are both rather sad about- but are of course looking forward to seeing for you all!
