Appolagies for our brief last entry, we are now in Chang Mai after our overnight coach from Bangkok with our Thai ladyboy hostess of the mostest, frequent unrequired wake up calls and a very disgusting meal.

We arrived at our nice hotel (making the most of it) and chilled out by the pool, heading to the night market in the evening.

The next day we started our 2 day trek with a bumpy ride in an open pick up to our elephant ride with our elephant Lamjai and his rider who sang english pop songs to us!

After the elephants we had lunch on the river out of leaves after our Dutch friend falling in! (this turned out to be a frequent re-occurance). Then the Trek via waterfalls to our home for the night a tribal village called White Karen. We had an amazing Thai meal and drinks round the campfire.

After an uncomfortab;e night in our 5 star hut we set off to another waterfull for our morning shower, then more trekking in the jungle until lunch. We then went Banboo rafting with our Man Untd supporting captain who capsised us 2 too many times!

We have had an amazing 1st trip to Thailand and looking forward to our trip to Loas tomorrow.
