AMELIA AND LORRAINE ON TOUR
Hi everyone!
Just arrived at Victoria Falls yesterday, the Zambian side. Haven't seen them yet but we're off there tom for some adrenaline activities! Think we are likely to wimp out of the bungy but might throw ourselves off a canyon swing!
Africa has been surpassing all our expectations, it is stifling hot, unbearably slow but we love it! A few days ago we camped in a national park and although we did 2 safaris we didnt see that many animals. We needn't have worried though as the first night we were woken up by a herd of 15 elephants walking right through our tents, we were really lucky they were kind enough not to step on us! They ripped a whole in the tarpulin that covers our open windows and later on a bunch of cheeky monkeys got in and ate most of our food supply including a whole box of bubblegum - they'll be sick after that! Not to be outdone on our 2nd night I could hear a lot of rustling only to see a huge hippo emerged from the bushes and proceed to have dinner outside my tent! Within half an hour four of them walked past! On our last morning we were woken up by yet more animals and a lion who was in the camp, and kept us all in our tents for quite a while with our legs crossed!
Anyway, rambled on about animals far too long. Will ty and get some pic on here soon and give you some more details about what we've been up to.
Lots of love. xxx
