it was janine birthday today!!!!! i got her a ticket to go to thee grand prix (well the friday event as she was flying to sydney on saturday and singapore on sunday) we had to get up soo early to firstly take the hire car back into town! that was an interesting drive!! got stuck in traffic in melbourne and then got slighty lost in the city but found our way eventually. tested my driving skils anyway! its wierd here. in the city of melbourne you have to go into the left lane to turn right or left and the right lane go straight ahead!!!! its so confusing and seams realy dangerous. also lights allow you to turn left when its a green man on the road you are turning onto so you have to watch out for padestrians!!!!! anyway we thn went and had a subway for breakfast!! delish!! wandered round the shops and got a tram to albert park!! it was a good day! so mnay cool cars!!! saw boyd and dillon from neighbours ha ha!! the F1 cars are sooooo loud!! even with ear plugs in it really hurst your hearing!!!! it getting me all excited for sunday as i am going to the actual grand prix!!! yeah!!!! we saw the V* racing and helicopters doing demos and this ultimate speed demonstration which was mega cool!! they raced a wee BMW car (cant remeber the type but its a road car) against a V8 and a F1!! the F1 started 70 seconds after the BMW and it still came first! ws sooo cool!!!! there is another one of those on sunday loooking forward to the whole day!! saw rob too the dutch guy i know! might meet with him on sunday.we then went out to the casion that night and jaine and i were still dancing away at 630am! its open all hours! was a good night! she is away to sydney now and ill meet her in singapore! just slpt all day today really watching the qualifiers for grand prox! hopefully going to an AFL game tongiht but it might be sold out! so much to do and so little time! havig problems uploading my photos just nw!! aaaarrrrrgggghhh!!!
