Heased up to the town of 1770!!! it a quiet place but had the cheapest surfing around! its also tha lst place you can surf as you head up north before killer jeopy fish and the barrier reef kils the waves! I havent develpoed a tan till after frazer island by the way but its getting there now!! my hair is soo blonde and my eye brows look like they have dissapeared!!!!! met the guy rob from holland and hannah and laura from f9inland who were o frazer island with me in the other team at the bus stop and it tured out we were akl heading to 1770 to same hostel and to airlie beach to do whitsundays! hannah and laura are on same boata s me!! so that was cool!! the hostel at 1770 was really cool, wioth hammoks and open fires and great acoustic music and stuff!! loved it!!! we all just sat up and had dinner and chatted!! the next day we went surfing!!! was soooooo good!! $16.50 for aBOUT 3 HRS THEN WE PAID AN EXTRA 5\$5 TO HIRE BOARDS OUT FOR AN HOUR!!! WE ALL GOT BURNT THOUGH!! I AM COVERED UP TODAY!!! i got standing duing the surfing and have photographic proof!! i was actuallt getrting pretty good at it!1 but my arms and knees are soo sore!! all red and rashed up from rubbing on the board!!!!! ouch!!!! laura hurt her toe and had to stop! she is in curtches now!! she took the photos though!! woo hoo!! i loved surfing!!! swalled about 3 pints of water too!!1 yuck!!!! in the afternoon rob and i went ona tour called skooteroos!! it was great! had a scooter or chopper and we road about 1770 and anges water looking at kangaroos and wallabies and stuff!! was so fast!! doiung 65kph on a scooter os a scary thing! i kept thinking what if i fall??? i had a hlmet on though so dont worry and i didnt fal!! one guy did though at the first corner!! it was so much fun!!! good wasy to fill day!! we then ate at a pub (the most amazihng potato wegdes and sour cream and sweet chilli sauce ever) watching the sunset and manat raes jumping out the water!! before riding off in the sunet back to base and got the pver nioght bus to airlie!!! that was a hard bus journey!!!! i could get comfy!!!!
