rrived in New plkymouth. mount taranaki (which could be moutn Fiji) was all covered up wiht cloud. apparently it is mopst of them time!!! there wasnt much to new plymouth i took a walk alojng the famous cpastal walk way and saw all the lava rock going into the sea and watched the surfers (very cool) and just lazed about. waether wasnt nice when i got there but once i got ettled into hostalit was a gorgeous day!!!! The hostel i was staying in was really cool. it was called sunflower lodge and it had a huge sun terrance opver looking the ocean! it was all cosy and really friendly! I shared a room with german girls (again), but got talking to one particalular girl ( have no idea what her name was, this has become a common thing, you talk to folk for hours and have no idea what their names are!) and she wanted me to pretend to the other german girls (if they asked ) that she was australian cause she said she is sick of meeting and taling german!! i have found that alot.....people not wanting to talk to folk from their own country! its all about the experience though!! i have only met one guy from scotland (grant) a few irsh and one northern irish and 3 english! the rest are all german!!! ha ha! and american! just watched tv in the eveing in new plymouth as had an very early bus again at 8am! i prefer the early buses casue they get there quicker then you have mpore time in your destination! some have been in the afternoon and its annoying as you have to check out of hostel at 10am then you have nothing o do for a few hours! hence i come and sit in internet cafes and type like mad!! one thing about watching telly in hostels is that some folk have the remote and they shouldnt! you stick it on one channel and leave it really but this guy.......i swear i was at the point of going up and riping the remote out his hand he just sat and flicked for about 30mins!!!!! one channel after the other!!! me and this other guy were just laughing in disbelief!!! wierdo!!!
