IN Hamilton!!! and there is no hamilton palace here! i doubled checked!! there is really nothing to here other than students and getting drunk! big night life scene! stayed at the very cool hostel that is a womans house! she traveled alot in past! it had big outdoor fire and musc and was great! she put on a free BBQ for everyone and then i went out into town with these american girls i met who were down for weekend and are studying near thames!!! we had a blast! they were great so down to earth!!!! we drank and then danced all night in a bar called outback!! the music here is like the uk 6 months ago! fashion too! its all shorts and high heels (well its just starting to come in) i have had a great time here! when i got here i had a wander round hamilton gardens and there was an arts fairon so lots of stalls and things and the gardens are cool too they have japanese and chinese and english ect... really well designed!! it was really the going out bit that was best though!! it is student freshers week here so the whole place was going mad! most bars open till 5am!!! the girls were like us lot going out! up for total mad wans!! but they could really handle their drink! new zealand has a bit of a drinking culture (nothing like uk) and they couldnt keep up! we had a great time though! keeping in contact with them! i also learnt some maori last night too!! so all good for just an over night stop on way to bay of islands!!!!
