So yesterday we arrived in Paris, and finally got to our hostel 'Le Village'.
The walk from the train station the hostel was the most awful thing I have ever experienced!
It's about 26c in Paris right now. My bag was incredibly heavy, and we had to walk in the heat, in rush hour, with a heavy bag for about 20 mins.
It wasn't pretty.
Anyways today we got up bright and early and left to see the sights.
We went to the arc de triomphe first of all which once at the top offers a great view of the city.
Then we walked all the way down the champs élysées from afar it doesn't look so bad but in reality it was about 100,000 during this time I lost a toenail and gained a blister in its place, one day in and my fee are ruined!
Next stop was the Louvre which, to be honest, we only ventured into to see the moan Lisa... When you meet her in person she is rather small. In the afternoon we sunbathed in the gardens outside amongst the many students, business workers and olive who were enjoying the French sunshine.
Last but not least came the big one. The Eiffel Tower, which was again smaller than I expected but beautiful all the same.
On the way there we walked over one of many bridges in Paris that has been taken over by thousands of padlocks, meant to be left there to represent love, so we decided to leave our own. Cheesy I know haha.
Tonight it was the hard rock cafe for dinner which didn't disappoint as per usual.
Now time for bed, to nurse for poor feet and spread plenty of after sun over my body.
Au revouir.
