Day 10 Another early start (we cant believe it either!) Breakfast to go and picked up by minibus to get to Halong Bay. The traffic was insane most of the way but the journey went quite quickly. 2 hours in and we stopped at an ornament garden centre and hope our parents like the 7ft elephant water fountains we have had shipped home - payment on arrival! Day 9 We left Bangkok at silly o clock and were heading for Vietnam, Ryan slept from take off to landing..still recovering from a Koh San Road hangover?! Many thousand more AirAsia miles later anmd a stress free airport led us into a false sense of security. Hanoi is MENTAL.
