Today we were leaving Siem Reap for Bangkok. Ian was really sick so he and Lindsay ended up flying to Bangkok instead of coming on the 6-hour drive with us. The road along the way to the Thailand border was not sealed most of the way, so it was really bumpy. We made a few stops along the way but we made it to the boarder in really good time. With another early start we were off to see more of the amazing temples in Siem Reap. Esra didn't join us today so the group was very relaxed and chilled. A great day all round really. Today we had to get up at 4am as we were going to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat, but it was not only really cold at that time of the morning it was very overcast so there wasn't much of a sunrise to see. The atmosphere there was an amazing feeling though. It was very eerie. This morning Susan and I went for breakfast at Chivas where I enjoyed bake beans on toast. Yum! After breakfast Susan and I went to see Wat Phnom where we saw some cute baby monkeys.
