Today I was going to Dublin to meet my mate Sally and her boyfriend Tom for St Patrick's Day. I left for the airport at 4.20am and walked to Kingston train station. Along the way I ended up missing the turn off and almost ended up in Surbiton. I eventually made it to the station and waited to board the train to Clapham to get my connecting train to Gatwick Airport. It only took and hour and a half from Clapham to Gatwick.

I made my way through the station to the airport and found the check in counter. After checking in which took forever, I then made my way over to security and immigration. When finally making it through I went to the departure lounge and waited to board the plane.

An hour or so later I was finally in Dublin. I meet Sally at the arrivals, then we went a caught a bus into Dublin. After dropping our stuff off at the hotel, we walked into the main centre and did a bit of shopping. We then walked over to Temple Bar and had a few pints while we waited for Sally's BF to turn up as he was driving up from Wexford.

After a few hours at the pub of catching up, we then decided that we needed some food, so we made our way over to Burger King and got some dinner, before returning back to the hotel to wait for Tom. He eventually turned up at about 7.30pm. We then went back out for some more Guinness and food before calling it a night.
