I arrived in Townsville yesterday afternoon. I start work at the Mater Childrens Hospital tomorrow morning. I am currently staying in accomadation just across the road from the hospital. The hospital is on the oukskirts of town and I found out today that aparently no public transport runs at all on the weekend and all the shops that are within walking distance are only open during the week. So first thinkg on the agenda for tomorrow is to buy a bike. I have been told that the peadiatric unit gets really busy and I will be working on my own. Then I realised their idea of busy and my idea of busy was a bit different!
