It was Dans Birthday and he wanted to go Whale Watching so we caught a train to Surfers Paradise. We arrived at Surfers at 8.30am. We were out on the boat for about 3 hours. After the first hour of being on the boat I started to feel sea sick as the sea was really choppy. I attempted to take some photos of the hump back Whales but every time I attempted to take a photo I almost ended up throwing my camera over board. So unfortunatley I didnt get any photos. It was quite an amazing experience to be that close to the whales. The boat drop us off at Surfers at 12.30pm. We took a  walk into town and had some lunch. Then myself and Ben laid on the beach whilst Dan went round the shops and spent his birthday money. We got the train back to Brisbane at 3pm and we didnt get back to our apartment untill 7pm as there was delays on the train. So we were all pretty exsauhsted and sun burnt by the time we got home.
