Spent today at the zoo, only planned to dtay for a few hours but it was that big we spent the whole day! Toke lots of photos! Met Darren and went to the BBC to see a live filming of 'A short history of everything else' it wasn't as good as we thought it would be so left early!

Headed to central London today with Darren wanted to go to HMS Belfast, but it was closed for refurbishment (bloody olympics) so me and Cam went to the tower of London it was an amazing building and we got to see the crown jewels. Afterwards we went to the Tower Bridge experience. Got some great views from the walkway and Cam loved down in the engine room. Then we met back with Darren under Big Ben and he took us a walk round to see Big Ben, London Eye, Parliment Building, Westminster Abbey, Downing Street and Buckingham Pallace etc. It was nice doing it in the evening to miss the crowds.

Well once again we hoped to go to Kensington Palace but was shut for refurbishment, just glad we looked it up before we left. We headed to the O2 Arena (Millenium Dome) for the British Music Experience. On the way back to Covent Garden to meet Darren and Lorraine we went to the Monument which was built to remember the great fire of London. It was a relief when we finally got to the top of 311 steps but well worth the view. Had a great meal at a mexican restaraunt called Wahaca before we went to see Rock of Ages. Definately the best show I have ever seen (even Cam enjoyed it but I think that was mainly to do with all the half naked girls)

Today was most definately Cams most favourite day cause Darren drove us to the London Motor Museum. Didnt look like much from the outside of the building but it had over 100 classic and sports cars. Then went to the RAF Museum which was great cause they had a whole hanger full of planes, helicopters and jets.

Spent the morning packing our bags and phoning our families before we left later than we expected for the airport. Still made it in plenty of time. We were very impressed with service and food on South African Airways, not as bad as the plane food we remember.
