Tue 1/5/12 Left Jaisalmer for Jodhpur today, the Blue City. Stopped at the Jaswant Thada on the way to our hotel. It was a beautiful marble memorial building, we got some great views of the fort and over the city. Cam wasn't feeling 100% today so we relaxed all afternoon before going to a funky restaurant, Rocktails, for dinner.

Mon 30/4/12 After waking up in the desert we went back to the resort for breakfast before heading to Jaisalmer, the Golden City. We had a guided tour of the Jaisalmer Fort and the Haveli's in the afternoon. We met a man with a 1.5 meter moustache (his dad is in the Guinness Book of Records for his 4.5 meter moustache) After lunch we went to a silver factory to see how the jewellery is made then when we got back we planned to go for a swim but ended up sleeping, ...

Sun 29/4/12 Today we drove to Mangalam Resort in Khuri, (not far from Jaisalmer) for our camel safari. Once we arrived we packed a bag and headed straight out on the camels. To begin with it felt like we would easily fall off as didn't have much to hold on to (especially when the camels stood up) but soon got used to them. Sat 28/4/12 (Today) A 9:30am start today which is late for us! :) After we left the main town of Mandawa Cam got to drive most of the way to Bikaner! It was a far more relaxing drive with him behind the wheel! Before we arrived we stopped at the Deshnok Temple where there were holy white rats, i think the main reason was to see what we thought before going to Karni Mata Temple which has thousands of rats.
